Human trafficking just in the state of Georgia constitutes an important issue with 281 cases involving 1,065 victims. Georgia also has one of the highest sex trafficking statistics in the US. Written by award-winning writer Carolyn Jones, Angel’s Palace is a true sex trafficking story meant to bring awareness to the tragedies happening in our cities and right before our own eyes. Angel’s Palace was inspired by Carolyn’s niece who wants to save and prevent lives from being trafficked like she was.

Synopsis

Angel’s Palace is a phenomenal and powerful stage play that is informative, emotional, and empowering. You will find yourself glued to your seat as you take an extraordinary ride into the lives of the diabolical Walker family; the spearheading family that orchestrates RAW’s Palace.

Raw and his leading lady, Madame Shai maintain the Palace’s operation by snatching young women, girls, and boys to sexually entertain guests. When Shai snatches a problem child, Yasmine, the Palace is under fire by the police department.

16-yr old Yasmine becomes a runaway when she finds out that she is being trafficked by her own mother, Lady Dai. When she is snatched by Madame Shai, she is held in bondage by the dangerous owner of Raw’s Palace.

The horrific story is not only heartbreaking, but sheds light to the exploitation and enslavement of thousands people of all ages and sexes around the world.
